We've already had many projects this year! Our first project was to make a boat out of cardboard. After we built it, we actually raced them in a pool in Carrolton. These last few weeks before Christmas break we had to make ornaments for the elderly residents in Carrollton. My residents name was Delores and she was so excited when she got her gift. I used an old keyboard to make a Christmas tree out of keys.

We had a geometry project and I built a mason jar chandelier. The process was very unique and turned out pretty amazing. In these pictures I am sanding the box and placing the wires through the holes I drilled.

I even customized the tree to spell her name "Delores" across the bottom, the date "16'" on the third highest row, a heart "<3" on the second highest row, and a star "*" on top.

We recently made catapults with our groups chosen by our teachers. There were varied numbers of people in each group. In ours there was four team members. We first brainstormed ideas on how to construct the catapult. Once we had our plan we worked on a prototype. After we knew that our prototype worked we started assigning jobs for building our life size product. I got the job constructing our catapult in Autodesk Inventor. This is our final product (above) and my final Autodesk design (left)

In the Christmas spirit, we had a day called "Maker Day" to make whatever we wanted. I made a whole lot of ornaments for my friends back in Owen County. I used a scroll saw to cut these pieces out of wood. Overall the project turned out well and I have made six new ornaments for everyone to keep.

We did a virtual design project with people from Minnesota. This projects task was to design a low ropes course for Butler Park. Overall this project was successful but there are a few things we would like to improve on.

For my World Civics Project I created a propaganda poster with my friend Serenity Rogers and the outcome of the project was actually better than expected. We got great feedback from students and teachers. Our poster was about presidential propaganda for current issues such as TSA president. On the left is the refrence picture for my poster on the right.
